The
Peterborough Fund Raising Committee was formed in December 1999 by a group
of Greater Peterborough businesses. Since its inception the group of professional
business people has raised over £61,000 for the national children’s
charity, Barnardo’s, through organising and promoting an annual
fund raising event.

‘The commitment and passion of the Peterborough Fundraising Group as the key driver of innovative and enjoyable events on the fundraising calendar is truly inspirational. By volunteering their time all the members on the committee have collectively raised over £61,000 to date. This has enabled Barnardo’s to help so many vulnerable children and young people across the UK need. I am thrilled that we are able to work together with ambassadors in the business community, such as the Peterborough Fundraising Group, to ensure that we can provide vulnerable, disadvantaged children and young people with a with a much brighter future.’
